Download Login Check Pro ip-list sample of fb-scraper from 2012/08(*.txt)

Installation

Follow the installation instructions on our Customer Service page.

The WMD Login Check extension contains 2 template files.

  1. app/design/frontend/default/default/template/persistent/customer/form/login.phtml
  2. app/design/frontend/default/default/template/customer/form/login.phtml

If you are using a custom theme:
Copy the template folder over to your custom theme folder
e.g. app/design/frontend/default/default/template to app/design/frontend/default/customtheme/template

If you did update from the free Login Check extension:
Do a search in app/design/frontend/default/yourdesign for 'wmdlogincheck'. If you find any places, e.g. Mage::helper('wmdlogincheck')->__('Any String');, replace wmdlogincheck with logincheckpro. That will do.

WMD Login Check PRO How To Configure

Login to your Admin Page, go to System / Configuration.

In the CUSTOMERS section to the left you should find the WMD Login Check link*. 

Clicking the WMD Login Check link should bring up 3 sections to configure*.

In the General Login Check Configuration section: Select 'Yes' to enable or 'No' to disable the WMD Login Check module.

In the Login Check Pages section: Select** the page(s) you want the not logged in users to be able to visit.

  • In case of not allowing the page configured as System / Configuration / Web / Default Pages / CMS Home Page you will recive some error message after saving the Allowed Pages. In case you made this configuration in purpose for some unknown reason, ignore the message. Otherwise go to System / Configuration / Web / Default Pages / CMS Home Page and set that value to some page you do allow or simply do allow the page the error message is printing out as your CMS Home Page.  

In the Login Check Actions section: Select** the actions you want users to be able to take.

  • Disable the Customer Account Create action to make the New Customers section with the Create an Account button disappear on the Customer Login page.
  • Disable the Customer Account Forgott Password action to make the 'Forgot Your Password?' link disappear on the Customer Login page.

*) If not, go back to the Extensions containing admin page functionality  section and perform the tasks mentioned there.

WMD Login Check PRO How To Allow Additional Modules

Fill in values from Module Names you want to allow. If you want to allow users to see your catalog without login, simply fill in catalog and all the actions from the module Mage_Catalog will be allowed. Seperate by empty space if you want to allow more then one module. E.g. catalog wordpress to allow actions from both modules. You may even fill in e.g. catalog_category if you want users to be able to view catalogs category pages but not the product view page.

 

If you are runing multiple websites, stores or store views,  change the Current Configuration Scope at the left top and configure the values per Website, Store or per Store View.

WMD Login Check PRO How To Redirect After Login

To stop user from getting back to where he came from or being redirected to customer account dashboard fill in any value. e.g. http://yourdomain.com/category1.html

If you are runing multiple websites, stores or store views,  change the Current Configuration Scope at the left top and configure the values per Website, Store or per Store View.

WMD Login Check PRO How To Bypass Login By IP/Domain

Keep on mind that it will be easy for some individuals to spoof the ip. Therefore the security level is low if you make use from this option.

To stop certain ips or domains from getting redirected to login, fill in values line by line.

A typical situation would be pasting in the list of facebook scraper ips.

WMD Login Check PRO How To Bypass Login By User-Agent

Keep on mind that it will be easy for some individuals to provide the user-agent of their choice. The user-agent of choice can even be provided in some browsers. Therefore the security level is very low if you make use of this option.

To stop certain user agents from getting redirected to login, fill in values line by line.

A typical situation would be pasting in the list of facebook user-agent.

If you are runing multiple websites, stores or store views,  change the Current Configuration Scope at the left top and configure the values per Website, Store or per Store View.

Think of that to maybe regain a respectable security level while using this option.
